The intrinsic safety parts of intrinsically safe equipment and associated equipment are divided into ia and ib:
Ia: Electrical equipment that works normally+one fault+any combination of two faults that cannot cause ignition.
IB: Intrinsically safe electrical equipment that operates normally and cannot ignite under a fault condition.
